Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CNS DEPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Oxycodone
Oxycodone falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Caraway interacts with.
Animal research suggests that (S)-(+)-carvone, a major constituent of caraway seed extract, has sedative effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: oxycodone is a strong opioid pain reliever that already makes a lot of people feel drowsy, foggy, or slowed down. Caraway, when used as a concentrated oil or supplement, may have a mild calming or sedative effect of its own. Put them together and, in theory, those sleepy effects could stack up a bit more than expected.
I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. It comes from animal studies on one component of caraway, not from real-world reports in people, so it's more of a maybe than a sure thing. The caraway you sprinkle on food almost certainly won't matter. Still, since oxycodone can already cause heavy sedation and slowed breathing, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before starting a caraway oil or capsule, and watch for extra grogginess.

Questions About Caraway or Oxycodone
These are real questions from readers, answered by the pharmacists at HelloPharmacist — written by a person, not generated from a database. Each one covers Caraway or Oxycodone, not necessarily both, but if one is close to what you were about to ask it will usually go further than a database entry can:

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Oxycodone page
“Oxycodone is a potent opioid painkiller, and anything that deepens its sedation can slow breathing itself, which is why this list deserves genuine respect. Of the 145 supplement and herbal ingredients on record, eight rate major, and the biggest cluster by far, 78 ingredients, adds extra drowsiness on top of the opioid's own.”

About Caraway
What is Caraway?
- Digestive upset and bloating
- Gas (flatulence)
- Indigestion (dyspepsia)
- Irritable bowel symptoms
- Increasing breast milk (traditional)
Caraway is a common cooking spice that has long been used to ease gas, bloating, and indigestion. Some evidence suggests caraway oil—often combined with peppermint oil—may help with indigestion, but evidence for most other uses is limited. Food amounts are generally safe; concentrated oils and supplements should be used cautiously and discussed with your pharmacist or doctor.
About Oxycodone
What Is Oxycodone Used For?
Brand names: OxyContin, Roxicodone, OxyIR, Percolone, Oxecta, OxyNeo
Oxycodone treats pain that is severe enough to need an opioid pain medicine, when other treatments are not enough. Other options include non-opioid pain relievers or opioid combination products.
Some products are for specific situations. Extended-release products (OxyContin, Xtampza ER, and oxycodone extended-release tablets) are for severe, persistent pain that needs daily, around-the-clock treatment. They are not for as-needed use. The 100 mg per 5 mL (20 mg/mL) oral solution is only for opioid-tolerant patients. Oxaydo is labeled for acute and chronic pain.
