Halodrol-50 and Treprostinil (IV)

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Treprostinil (IV) and Halodrol-50 in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Halodrol-50 at all — not against Treprostinil (IV), and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Treprostinil (IV) page

“Bleeding risk is the thread running through nearly every supplement flagged for treprostinil (Remodulin), the IV therapy for pulmonary arterial hypertension. The drug itself discourages platelets from clumping, so the overwhelming majority of these ingredients could push that tendency further, and I would not add anything from this pag…”

About Halodrol-50

What is Halodrol-50?

  • Building muscle mass
  • Increasing strength
  • Bodybuilding and athletic performance
  • Body recomposition

Halodrol-50 is a brand-name 'prohormone' designer supplement, not an herb, that was marketed to build muscle and strength. Older versions contained synthetic anabolic steroid-like compounds that were later banned in the United States, and these substances carry real risks of liver injury and hormone disruption. Because product formulas have changed over time and ingredients can be unpredictable, we recommend avoiding it and talking with your pharmacist or doctor before using any prohormone product.

About Treprostinil Injection

What Is Treprostinil Injection Used For?

Brand name: Remodulin

Treprostinil injection is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, WHO Group 1) — high blood pressure in the arteries that supply the lungs. It works to reduce the symptoms that make exercise difficult. Clinical studies included patients with moderate-to-severe PAH symptoms (NYHA Class II–IV) due to idiopathic or heritable PAH, PAH related to congenital heart defects, and PAH related to connective tissue diseases.

It is also used for PAH patients who need to transition off epoprostenol — a related medication — to slow the worsening of their condition during that switch. The risks and benefits of the transition should be carefully discussed with a specialist before starting.
