Rolfing and Reslizumab

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Reslizumab and Rolfing in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Rolfing alongside specific medications may be limited.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Rolfing at all — not against Reslizumab, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

Rolfing is a treatment rather than something you take. Tell whoever provides it which medicines you use, and ask your prescriber whether it is appropriate for your health and treatment. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

Rolfing safety at a glance

Rolfing overall Use caution Generally considered low-risk when done by a trained practitioner, but the deep pressure can cause soreness and may not be appropriate for everyone.
Pregnancy Use caution Discuss with your obstetrician first; deep tissue work during pregnancy should only be done by practitioners experienced with pregnancy.
Breastfeeding Use caution No known direct effect on breast milk, but check with your healthcare provider before deep bodywork.

Safety guidance is general; always confirm with your pharmacist or doctor for your situation.

What Reslizumab’s Own FDA Label Lists

This is not an interaction — none of it involves Rolfing. These are the most notable effects listed in the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of Reslizumab’s own FDA label, for the medication by itself. Knowing the drug’s own list makes it easier to work out the likely cause if something new turns up while you have Rolfing and take the medicine. 3 of them are worth acting on rather than waiting out — marked below.

  • Wheezing Worth acting on
  • Chest pain Worth acting on
  • A severe allergic reaction Worth acting on
  • Sore throat
  • Muscle pain
  • Tiredness

From the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of the FDA label for Reslizumab. Read the label on DailyMed › Rolfing’s licensed record lists no adverse effects our clinical vocabulary could match, so there is no Rolfing side to compare — that is a limit of the record, not a statement that Rolfing has no side effects.

About Rolfing

What is Rolfing?

  • Chronic back and neck pain
  • Postural alignment
  • Muscle tension and tightness
  • Improved flexibility and movement
  • Stress and body awareness

Rolfing is a form of hands-on bodywork (deep tissue manipulation of the connective tissue, or fascia), not an herb or dietary supplement that you swallow. Some people find it helps with posture, tension, and chronic pain, but high-quality scientific evidence is limited. If you have a health condition, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before starting Rolfing.

Not applicable — Rolfing is a hands-on bodywork therapy, not a plant or supplement · Hands-on sessions delivered by a certified Rolfer, often as a series of structured appointments

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Rolfing is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Rolfing record says about it on its own.

Rolfing: dosing

Because Rolfing is a hands-on therapy and not a supplement, there is no milligram dose or pill to take. It is delivered as in-person sessions by a trained, certified practitioner.Rolfing is often offered as a series of sessions (commonly described as a "Ten Series"), each lasting roughly an hour, but the number and frequency vary by practitioner and your needs.
