Here is some good news that makes this an easy one. Ibutilide (Corvert) is not an oral pill, it is given as an IV infusion in a hospital or clinic setting, usually to convert atrial fibrillation or flutter back to a normal rhythm. The concern on file is that slippery elm's sticky mucilage might coat the gut and slow absorption of medicines you swallow. Since ibutilide bypasses the stomach entirely and goes straight into a vein, that gel cannot get in its way.

So in practical terms, this interaction does not really apply to ibutilide. It is also only a theoretical idea, not something proven. Still, mention any supplements to the team caring for you, since ibutilide does require careful heart-rhythm monitoring.
