At least one FDA label for a product containing Nifurtimox says to take it with food. If you take Turkey Corn on an empty stomach out of habit, keep them separate — and take Nifurtimox with a meal where the label says to.

What Is Nifurtimox Used For?
Brand name: Lampit
Lampit (nifurtimox) is approved to treat Chagas disease (American Trypanosomiasis), a parasitic infection caused by Trypanosoma cruzi. Lampit is approved specifically for pediatric patients from birth to under 18 years of age who weigh at least 2.5 kg (about 5.5 lbs).
Chagas disease can affect both the blood and tissues. Nifurtimox works against multiple forms of the parasite, including those inside and outside of cells.
