5-HTP
5-HTP, or 5-hydroxytryptophan, is a naturally-occurring amino acid and a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin. It is used as a dietary supplement to improve mood and help with anxiety, sleep disorders, and other conditions. It is also sometimes used in combination with other medications to treat migraines and fibromyalgia. The 5-HTP found in supplements is most often obtained from the seeds of the tropical shrub Griffonia simplicifolia

50 mg
- 5-HTP (L-5-Hydroxytryptophan) is an intermediate in the natural conversion of the essential amino acid tryptophan to serotonin, a brain chemical associated with positive mood and well-being. Preclinical studies show that 5-HTP may help support healthy levels of serotonin in the body. In addition to a balanced mood, serotonin may also support melatonin production and a healthy sleep cycle.
