Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This powder contains four active ingredients: three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) — L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine — plus beta-alanine (sold as CarnoSyn). The BCAAs are amino acids your body uses to build and repair muscle; beta-alanine is a compound your body converts to carnosine, which plays a role in muscle performance.
The inactive ingredients are natural fruit flavors (pineapple, tangerine, mango), citric acid, and stevia (steviol glycosides) for sweetness.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Beta-alanine is possibly effective for athletic performance and physical performance — meaning there's some decent evidence it may help, but the picture isn't complete yet. For other uses listed on the label — age-related cognitive decline, COPD, cognitive function, and menopausal symptoms — the evidence isn't established enough to rate.
We don't have effectiveness ratings on file for the branched-chain amino acids in this product.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Beta-alanine is generally well tolerated in healthy adults, but it commonly causes a harmless tingling sensation (pins and needles, or paresthesia) in your skin, usually starting on the scalp within 20 minutes and spreading across your body for about an hour. The tingling is dose-dependent — it's very mild at lower doses and was described as severe only at the highest doses tested.
The safety data advises against using this product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding because there isn't enough information to know if it's safe.

The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. No medication interactions are currently documented, and safety information is well characterized.
If you're an athlete or someone focused on physical performance, this product may be worth a try — the BCAAs and beta-alanine have some evidence behind them. Just know you'll likely feel some skin tingling, especially at first; it's harmless but annoying.
