What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Dream Dust against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Dream Dust by Moon Juice
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Dream Dust contains 6 ingredients, most of them plant extracts in a proprietary blend. The active ingredients are organic ashwagandha root and leaf extract, organic stevia leaf extract, organic schisandra berry powder, jujube seed powder, and chamomile flower extract.
There are no inactive fillers or other ingredients listed. Ashwagandha is a traditional herbal supplement used for sleep and stress support.
Schisandra, jujube seed, and chamomile are also plant-based ingredients with a long history in traditional practice, while stevia is a natural sweetener. One ingredient—polygala root extract—is included but we hold no interaction data for it.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
For ashwagandha, the data supports possibly effective ratings for insomnia, anxiety, stress, and generalized anxiety disorder. For the other ingredients, evidence is insufficient to establish effectiveness in the conditions they are traditionally used for — this includes schisandra, jujube seed, and chamomile across their claimed uses, as well as stevia for diabetes and blood pressure control.
The bottom line is that ashwagandha shows some preliminary promise for sleep and anxiety, but the overall evidence for this formula as a sleep aid is limited.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Ashwagandha is generally well tolerated short-term in healthy adults, though long-term safety data are sparse. Common side effects are mild — diarrhea, nausea, and upset stomach — but rare serious cases of liver problems have been reported.
Ashwagandha is likely unsafe in pregnancy (traditionally thought to risk miscarriage) and lacks enough safety data for breastfeeding, so avoid it during both. Schisandra, jujube seed, and chamomile are also generally well tolerated short-term; schisandra and chamomile should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data, while jujube seed is likely safe in pregnancy but not well studied during breastfeeding.
Stevia in supplement doses (beyond food amounts) is not well studied. Chamomile can trigger allergic reactions in people sensitive to ragweed and related plants.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Dream Dust, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take any sedatives or anti-anxiety medications (including benzodiazepines), blood pressure medications, blood sugar medications, thyroid hormones, immunosuppressants, liver-metabolizing drugs, warfarin or other blood thinners, tacrolimus, antifungal medications like voriconazole, oral contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, or tamoxifen. Ashwagandha and schisandra especially interact with multiple classes of medications that go through liver metabolism, and chamomile carries Moderate interactions with blood thinners and several other drug types.
If you take lithium, discuss this product with your healthcare provider before starting, as stevia may affect lithium levels.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Dream Dust is aimed at people looking for herbal sleep support, and ashwagandha does show preliminary evidence for insomnia and anxiety. However, it interacts with a large number of medication types — particularly sedatives, blood pressure drugs, blood sugar medications, liver-metabolizing drugs, and immune-suppressing medications — so you'll need to check your exact prescriptions with your doctor or pharmacist before starting.
If you're pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, talk with your healthcare provider about whether this product is appropriate for you.
