Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
This powder contains 28 ingredients, of which the active components include D-limonene (a citrus extract), astaxanthin (a naturally derived pigment), alpha-GPC (a brain-supporting compound), hyaluronic acid (a skin hydration ingredient), and a blend of terpenes — plus organic Tremella fuciformis and several other botanical compounds. The inactive ingredients are organic agave inulin, citric acid, organic stevia, natural flavors, and spearmint oil powder.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for this product's ingredients is limited. D-limonene and astaxanthin both have insufficient reliable evidence to rate for their potential uses — the data we hold doesn't establish either one as effective for cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, age-related cognitive decline, macular degeneration, or skin aging.
Alpha-GPC is possibly effective for Alzheimer disease, though its use for other cognitive concerns (brain tumors, general cognitive function, stroke, vascular dementia) lacks sufficient evidence. Hyaluronic acid is possibly effective for dry eye and venous leg ulcers, but its use for aging skin, hay fever, and sexual dysfunction has insufficient evidence.
In short, while some ingredients have preliminary research, we don't have strong evidence that this combination works for any specific condition.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
D-limonene is generally well tolerated in food amounts, but high-dose supplement safety data in humans is limited. It can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea orally, and contact dermatitis if applied to skin.
Exposure to airborne limonene from fragrances and cleaning products has been linked to wheezing and asthma, especially in children. D-limonene should be avoided while breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.
Astaxanthin appears well tolerated in studies, though long-term safety data are limited; it should be avoided in pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Common side effects include abdominal pain, diarrhea, and red-colored stools; at higher doses, severe stomach pain has been reported.
Alpha-GPC is generally well tolerated, but rarely causes dizziness, headache, insomnia, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting — and long-term use (2+ months) has been rarely associated with increased stroke risk. There's insufficient safety information for pregnancy and lactation.
Hyaluronic acid is generally well tolerated, though long-term supplement safety isn't fully studied; it should be avoided in pregnancy and lactation unless your doctor advises otherwise.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take any CYP2C19 inhibitors (like cimetidine or fluvoxamine), CYP2C9 inhibitors (like fluconazole or amiodarone), CYP3A4 substrates, CYP2B6 substrates, or CYP2C19 or CYP2C9 inducers (like carbamazepine, rifampin, or prednisone) — all Moderate-severity interactions. Also confirm if you use scopolamine patches (motion-sickness patches), as alpha-GPC may reduce their effectiveness.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This is a multi-ingredient product with preliminary research at best and limited safety data for high-dose supplement use. If you take any medications — especially those that interact with liver enzymes, scopolamine patches, or other common drugs — talk with your doctor or pharmacist before starting.
Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should check with their healthcare provider given the caution or avoidance flags on several ingredients.

Even + Collagen Boost Lime Mint by zolt Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Even + Collagen Boost Lime Mint by zolt contains D-limonene and astaxanthin, both of which have documented interactions with medications.
The most serious concern is with D-limonene and drugs that inhibit or induce liver enzyme pathways — specifically CYP2C19 and CYP2C9 — which are Moderate severity interactions that have not yet been reported in humans but could theoretically increase limonene levels or decrease the effectiveness of certain medications.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
D-limonene may interact with CYP2C19 inhibitors (like cimetidine and fluvoxamine), CYP2C9 inhibitors (like fluconazole and amiodarone), and enzyme-inducing drugs (like carbamazepine, rifampin, and prednisone). Astaxanthin may theoretically reduce levels of drugs metabolized through CYP3A4 and CYP2B6 pathways — again, Moderate severity and not yet confirmed in humans, but worth monitoring.
We could not check interactions for terpinolene, myrcene, beta-pinene, beta-caryophyllene, alpha-pinene, geraniol, organic Tremella fuciformis, alpha-humulene, linalool, nerolidol, alpha-bisabolol, caryophyllene oxide, citronellol, fenchol, phytol, borneol, valencene, guaiol, alpha-cedrene, and camphene — we hold no data for these ingredients.
Alpha-GPC has one documented Minor-severity interaction: it may theoretically reduce the motion-sickness benefits of scopolamine patches. Hyaluronic acid has no interactions documented in our data.

For each ingredient in Even + Collagen Boost Lime Mint with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Dietary Fiber
Carbamazepine (Tegretol)
Theoretically, black psyllium might reduce the effects of carbamazepine and increase the risk for convulsions.
Theoretically, black psyllium might reduce carbamazepine absorption. A preliminary study using blond psyllium reported decreased carbamazepine bioavailability due to binding of the drug to psyllium, as well as reduction of available fluid in the gut for dissolution of the drug. This interaction may also occur with black psyllium.
Lithium
Theoretically, taking black psyllium at the same time as lithium might reduce lithium absorption.
The fiber in black psyllium might reduce lithium absorption and plasma levels. Some case reports describe a reduction in plasma lithium levels with concomitant administration of blond psyllium. This was reversed when psyllium was stopped. This interaction may also occur with black psyllium.
Metformin (Glucophage)
Theoretically, black psyllium might increase the therapeutic and adverse effects of metformin.
Animal research shows that concurrent consumption of blond psyllium with metformin slows and increases the absorption of metformin. This interaction may also occur with black psyllium. To avoid changes in absorption, take psyllium 30-60 minutes after metformin.
Olanzapine (Zyprexa)
Theoretically, taking black psyllium at the same time as olanzapine might reduce olanzapine absorption.
The fiber in black psyllium might decrease the absorption of olanzapine. A single case report describes a reduction in the effectiveness of olanzapine when it was concomitantly administered with an unspecified type of psyllium 3 grams orally twice daily. This effect was reversed when psyllium was stopped.
Digoxin (Lanoxin)
Theoretically, taking black psyllium at the same time as digoxin might reduce digoxin absorption and decrease digoxin levels.
Psyllium might bind digoxin in the gut. However, some clinical evidence suggests that psyllium does not impact digoxin absorption.
Ethinyl Estradiol
Theoretically, taking black psyllium at the same time as ethinyl estradiol might alter levels of estradiol.
Concurrent use of blond psyllium with ethinyl estradiol results in a slight increase in the extent of ethinyl estradiol absorption and a slower rate of absorption. This is unlikely to be clinically significant.
Oral Drugs
Theoretically, psyllium might increase, decrease, or have no effect on the absorption of oral drugs.
Psyllium seems to have variable effects on drug absorption. To avoid changes in absorption, take psyllium 30-60 minutes after oral medications. Animal research shows that blond psyllium delays and increases the absorption of metformin and ethinyl estradiol. Case reports and animal research suggest that blond psyllium might reduce absorption of lithium, digoxin, olanzapine, and carbamazepine. Finally, some pharmacokinetic studies show that psyllium does not affect the absorption of levothyroxine or warfarin. Although many of these studies evaluated blond psyllium, the fiber content in black psyllium may have similar effects.
AstaReal natural Astaxanthin powder
Cytochrome P450 2B6 (Cyp2B6) Substrates
Theoretically, astaxanthin may decrease levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2B6.
In vitro research shows that astaxanthin induces cytochrome CYP2B6 enzyme activity in human hepatocytes. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, astaxanthin may decrease levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that astaxanthin induces CYP3A4 enzyme activity in human hepatocytes. This effect has not been reported in humans.
D-Limonene
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Inducers
There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C19 (CYP2C19). CYP2C19 inducers might decrease the effects of limonene. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. Inducers of CYP2C19 include carbamazepine (Tegretol), prednisone (Deltasone), and rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane).
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Inhibitors
There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C19 (CYP2C19). So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for an increase in the limonene levels when it is taken with drugs that inhibit CYP2C19. Some drugs that inhibit CYP2C19 include cimetidine (Tagamet), fluvoxamine (Luvox), omeprazole (Prilosec); ticlopidine (Ticlid), topiramate (Topamax), and others.
Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Inducers
There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9). Inducers of CYP2C9 might decrease limonene levels. Inducers of CYP2C9 include rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane) and secobarbital (Seconal).
Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Inhibitors
There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9). So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for side effects in patients taking limonene and CYP2C9 inhibitors. Some CYP2C9 inhibitors include amiodarone (Cordarone), fluconazole (Diflucan), lovastatin (Mevacor), paroxetine (Paxil), zafirlukast (Accolate), and many others.
Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Substrates
There's preliminary evidence that limonene might be a substrate for cytochrome P450 2C9 (CYP2C9), as well causing its induction. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans. However, watch for a decrease in the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C9 in patients taking limonene. Some drugs metabolized by CYP2C9 include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as diclofenac (Cataflam, Voltaren), ibuprofen (Motrin), meloxicam (Mobic), and piroxicam (Feldene); celecoxib (Celebrex); amitriptyline (Elavil); warfarin (Coumadin); glipizide (Glucotrol); losartan (Cozaar); and others.
AlphaSize Alpha GPC
Scopolamine (Transderm Scop)
Theoretically, alpha-GPC might decrease the effects of scopolamine.
A small clinical study shows that alpha-GPC can partially counteract the attention and memory impairment effects caused by scopolamine given intramuscularly. Whether alpha-GPC can decrease the beneficial anti-motion sickness effects of the scopolamine patch (Transderm Scop) is unclear.
