If you take any of those drugs (like certain antibiotics, NSAIDs, or anti-inflammatory medications), chlorophyll may add to that photosensitivity risk and theoretically make sunburn or skin reactions more likely.

Chlorophyll also interacts with methotrexate (Trexall), a drug used for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and cancer. One case report found that chlorophyll slowed how the body clears methotrexate from the blood, which could raise methotrexate levels to unsafe amounts.
When chlorophyll was stopped a couple of days before the methotrexate dose, clearance returned to normal.
We couldn't check two other ingredients in this product — Lithothamnion glaciale and Lithothamnion tophiforme — because we hold no interaction data for them. The red algae and fermented chlorella are blend containers, so their components aren't broken out separately here.

Methotrexate (Trexall, Others)
Theoretically, chlorophyll may reduce the clearance of methotrexate.
In one case report, a 54-year-old male developed delayed clearance of intravenous high-dose methotrexate with concomitant use of chlorophyll. When chlorophyll was stopped 2 days prior to methotrexate treatment, methotrexate clearance was unaffected.
Photosensitizing Drugs
Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyll with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. In two case reports, pseudoporphyria developed after oral intake of chlorophyll. Theoretically, concomitant use with other photosensitizing drugs may exacerbate this effect.
