What’s inside
Full disclosure
Graviola Caps contains one active ingredient: graviola, a tropical plant extract. The capsule itself is made from vegetable material.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for graviola isn't established. Our data show insufficient reliable evidence to rate it for HPV infection, headache, insect repellent use, or male infertility.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work—it means well-designed human studies haven't confirmed it yet.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Graviola raises some safety concerns. Regular use may cause nausea and upper abdominal pain; in rare cases, it has been linked to movement disorders and nerve damage (myeloneuropathy) that resemble Parkinson disease symptoms.
One study found that even low cumulative intake of graviola fruit, juice, or herbal tea may worsen motor and cognitive symptoms in people with Parkinson disease. During pregnancy, there isn't enough safety data, so it's best avoided.
The same goes for breastfeeding—reliable information doesn't exist, so steer clear. Because human safety data are limited overall and lab studies raise concerns about possible long-term nerve toxicity, use caution with this product.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take carbamazepine (Tegretol) for seizures, check with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product—graviola may reduce how well the medication works.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Graviola Caps is not well studied in humans, and safety data are limited. If you take carbamazepine (a seizure medication), do not use this product without checking with your doctor or pharmacist first.
If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, the safety data advise against it. Talk it over with your own doctor or pharmacist before starting.
