What’s inside
Low disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: certified organic mistletoe extract from European mistletoe. It's formulated as a liquid with vegetable palm glycerin and Hawaiian artesian water as inactive ingredients.
Does it work?
Leans against
The evidence for mistletoe as a treatment is limited. For melanoma and head and neck cancer, early studies suggest it may not be effective.
For breast cancer and gastric cancer, we don't have enough reliable evidence yet to know whether it helps. The same goes for chemotherapy-induced diarrhea (stomach upset from cancer treatment) — the data isn't there yet to say one way or the other.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Mistletoe extract in small oral doses is generally well tolerated, but a complete safety review hasn't been done. High doses by mouth or injection may be unsafe.
At high doses taken by mouth, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and vomiting can occur. When injected, side effects may include chills, fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting, and allergic reactions or flu-like symptoms are possible.
Do not use this product during pregnancy — the safety data advises against it. Do not use while breastfeeding, as safety has not been established.
Important: raw mistletoe is toxic if swallowed; only use a standardized product, and only under medical supervision.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check with your pharmacist before using this product if you take blood pressure medications or immunosuppressants. Mistletoe may lower blood pressure further or reduce how well immune-suppressing drugs work.
These are Moderate-severity interactions.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with graded evidence leaning against its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product is not for self-treating cancer or chemotherapy side effects without a doctor's oversight. If you take blood pressure medication or drugs that suppress your immune system, talk to your pharmacist or doctor first — mistletoe can interfere with how they work.
