This product contains one active ingredient: sulfur, which is the mineral form used in MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) supplements. Silica is included as an inactive ingredient (a filler to help with texture and flow of the powder).

The evidence for sulfur is mixed. It's rated possibly effective for scabies (a skin condition caused by mites) and dandruff.
For acne, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), COPD, and the common cold, we don't have enough reliable evidence to say whether it works or not.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Topical sulfur is generally well tolerated, though it can cause skin dryness, irritation, and itching. Oral forms are less well studied.
When taken by mouth, sulfur has been reported to cause diarrhea. There's also one case report of a serious condition called metabolic acidosis (a dangerous shift in blood chemistry) in someone who consumed a very large amount of sulfur over several days; she had underlying kidney and blood sugar problems that likely contributed.
Because oral sulfur data is limited, use it only with guidance from your healthcare provider.
