Selenium is an essential trace element that plays a crucial role in various physiological functions in the human body. It is often included in dietary supplements due to its antioxidant properties and its contribution to maintaining a healthy immune system. However, it's essential to note that excessive selenium intake can be harmful, so it's crucial to adhere to recommended daily allowances and consult with a healthcare professional before taking selenium supplements.

N-Acetyl Cysteine
N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is derived from the amino acid cysteine. It is used as a prescription medication to treat acetaminophen overdose and to help thin mucus in people with certain respiratory conditions. It is also used as a dietary supplement. NAC has a number of potential health benefits. It is a source of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione, which is important for protecting cells from oxidative stress and supporting immune function. It also may have anti-inflammatory effects and studies show it may support healthy brain function. It is generally considered safe to take NAC supplements in recommended doses.

- N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) comes from the sulfur-containing amino acid cysteine, and makes up part of the tripeptide glutathione. Glutathione, along with NAC are powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals, which may damage the body's cells. NAC supplementation can help to increase levels of glutathione in the body.
This unique formula also contains Molybdenum, an essential trace element that functions as a cofactor in may biochemical reactions, and Selenium, another trace mineral that supports glutathione production.

- N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is a stable form of the non-essential amino acid L-Cysteine. It is a sulfur-containing amino acid that acts as a stabilizer for the formation of protein structures, and is also necessary for the formation of glutathione. Molybdenum and Selenium are essential trace minerals that facilitate the production of several important enzymes.

Precautions |
- Cysteine supplements should not be taken by individuals with cystinuria, a kidney condition in which excessive amounts of cysteine (along with three other amino acids) are lost in the urine.
- Do Not Eat Freshness Packet. Keep in Bottle.
- NAC may interact with many pharmaceutical medications including ACE inhibitors (medications commonly used to treat high blood pressure) and immunosuppresive medications (azathioprine, cyclophosphamide, prednisolone, or prednisone). In addition, although NAC may interact with nitroglycerin and isosorbide (two medications commonly used to treat chest pain), this combination may also increase the risk of side effects such as severe headaches and may lead to abnormally low blood pressure.
Laboratory and animal studies have suggested that NAC may affect the body's metabolism of both cisplatin and doxorubicin.
