What’s inside
Low disclosure
OLLY's Probiotic Tropical Mango has 1 active ingredient: Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856, a live probiotic strain meant to support gut health. The gummy or jelly form also contains inactive ingredients like cane sugar, gelatin, citric acid, lactic acid, and natural flavor — the typical binders and sweeteners you'd find in any gummy supplement.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence shows Bacillus coagulans is possibly effective for constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). For antibiotic-associated diarrhea, athletic performance, cancer, and fatty liver disease (NAFLD), the evidence we hold isn't strong enough to rate it one way or the other yet.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Bacillus coagulans is generally well tolerated in healthy adults, though evidence and product quality can vary between brands. There isn't enough reliable safety data overall; talk to your doctor before using, especially if you have a central line or catheter, a weakened immune system, or are very ill — rare cases of serious infection have been reported in those groups.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Separate this product from any antibiotics you're taking — they can reduce how well the probiotic works. Check your exact medications with the tool on this page before starting.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
If you're dealing with constipation or IBS symptoms, this probiotic may be worth trying. Just watch out for antibiotics — you'll need to space them out from the probiotic.
Talk it over with your doctor or pharmacist first, especially if you have any immune system concerns or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
