Revitalize Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Revitalize against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

HelloPharmacist Scorecard of Revitalize by Beachbody Ultimate
Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Revitalize contains two active ingredients: Bacillus coagulans, a live probiotic bacterium, and inulin, a soluble fiber that acts as a prebiotic (food for your good bacteria). The product also lists a proprietary prebiotic and probiotic blend, whose individual components are detailed separately in the ingredient list.
Cellulose is included as an inactive ingredient to fill out the capsule.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Bacillus coagulans is possibly effective for constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), though evidence for athletic performance, cancer prevention, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and fatty liver disease remains too limited to rate. Inulin is possibly effective for constipation, obesity, and diabetes management.
Evidence for inulin's use in fatty liver disease and iron deficiency anemia is also insufficient at this time.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Both ingredients are generally well tolerated in healthy adults, but safety data is limited and product quality varies. Bacillus coagulans carries a theoretical risk of serious infection (bacteremia and sepsis) in people with central lines, severe illness, or weakened immune systems, including premature infants — though reports in otherwise healthy people with intact immune systems are rare.
Inulin commonly causes gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and stomach cramps, especially at doses over 30 grams. Anaphylaxis from inulin-rich foods has been reported rarely.
Talk with your doctor or pharmacist before starting, especially if you have a weakened immune system or are severely ill.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check your antibiotic prescriptions before starting — you'll need to space them several hours apart from this product to protect the live bacteria. If you take diabetes medication, watch your blood sugar after you begin, since inulin may lower it.
No other major drug interactions are documented for the ingredients we could check.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product may help with constipation and IBS, and possibly with blood sugar and weight management, but the evidence is modest. It's safe for most healthy adults who tolerate it, though expect digestive side effects like gas and bloating.
If you take antibiotics or diabetes medication, check with us first — timing matters with the antibiotic, and blood sugar needs watching if you're on diabetes drugs.

Revitalize by Beachbody Ultimate Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Revitalize by Beachbody Ultimate contains two active ingredients with documented interactions.
Bacillus coagulans, a probiotic, has a moderate interaction with antibiotics — the bacteria in the supplement may be killed off by antibiotics taken at the same time, reducing how well the probiotic works. You'll want to space them apart.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Inulin, the second ingredient, has a minor interaction with diabetes medications (antidiabetes drugs). In theory, inulin might increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) when combined with these drugs, though it's unclear how strong this effect really is.
If you take diabetes medication, your doctor or pharmacist should review your blood sugar numbers after starting inulin.
Altogether, these interactions span 267 individual medications. Use the interaction checker on this page with your exact prescriptions before you start.

For each ingredient in Revitalize with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Bacillus coagulans
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking antibiotics with Bacillus coagulans might decrease the effectiveness of B. coagulans.
B. coagulans preparations usually contain live and active organisms. Therefore, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. coagulans preparations by at least two hours.
Inulin
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, inulin might increase the risk of hypoglycemia with antidiabetes drugs.
Some clinical research shows that inulin improves glycemic control in patients with diabetes; however, it is unclear if it has hypoglycemic effects.
