Ultra Collagen Enhance Ingredients & Drug Interactions
by ResVitale
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Ultra Collagen Enhance against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
Ultra Collagen Enhance contains 5 active ingredients. Chondroitin sulfate and Hydrolyzed Collagen Type II are structural compounds that support joint and skin health.
BioCell Collagen is a proprietary collagen blend. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that holds water in skin and tissues.
Resveratrol Polyphenol Complex is a plant-derived antioxidant extracted from grapes and other sources. The product also contains inactive ingredients: a vegetarian capsule, rice bran, and silica.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
Chondroitin sulfate is possibly effective for cataracts and osteoarthritis, but evidence is insufficient to rate it for aging skin, osteoporosis, high cholesterol, or colorectal polyp prevention. Hyaluronic acid is possibly effective for dry eye and venous leg ulcers, though evidence is insufficient for aging skin, hay fever, and sexual dysfunction.
Resveratrol is possibly effective for obesity and hay fever, but appears possibly ineffective for heart disease and high cholesterol. We have no established evidence in our data for the other ingredients or the product as a whole.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Chondroitin sulfate is generally well tolerated short-term, though quality varies. Common side effects include abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, and nausea.
Rare cases of liver damage and skin reactions (swelling, hair loss, rash) have been reported, as has one case of asthma flare. Hyaluronic acid appears well tolerated orally and topically in most adults, with topical use occasionally causing eczema, redness, or itching.
Resveratrol is generally well tolerated at typical doses but may cause diarrhea, stomach discomfort, or loose stools at higher doses. Rare skin rash has been reported.
Safety data is insufficient for oral hyaluronic acid and resveratrol supplements in pregnancy and lactation — the facts advise against use unless your doctor advises otherwise. Chondroitin should be avoided in pregnancy and lactation due to lack of safety information.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, check with your pharmacist if you take warfarin or other anticoagulants (blood thinners) or antiplatelet drugs like aspirin or clopidogrel — chondroitin and resveratrol may increase bleeding risk. Also double-check any medications your liver breaks down, including drugs metabolized by CYP2C19, CYP1A2, CYP2E1, or CYP3A4 enzymes, since resveratrol may theoretically raise their blood levels.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product combines collagen, joint-support, and skin ingredients that appeal to those managing joint health or skin aging. If you take warfarin or other blood thinners, or medications processed through your liver, you'll need to check your specific drugs with us first — resveratrol and chondroitin both carry interaction potential.
Talk to your pharmacist before starting, especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or on regular medications.

Ultra Collagen Enhance by ResVitale Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Ultra Collagen Enhance by ResVitale contains ingredients with documented interactions affecting a substantial number of medications.
The most serious concern is chondroitin sulfate with warfarin (a blood thinner), where combined use may increase bleeding risk — though the effect of chondroitin alone is less clear than when paired with glucosamine.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Resveratrol, the product's polyphenol complex, interacts with several medication categories. It may theoretically increase blood levels of drugs broken down by your liver's CYP2C19, CYP1A2, CYP2E1, and CYP3A4 enzymes — though human evidence is limited and one study at high doses showed no CYP3A4 interaction.
Resveratrol also has mild antiplatelet (blood-thinning) effects and may raise bleeding risk if you're on anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs.
We could not check two ingredients — Hydrolyzed Collagen Type II and Dermaval — so we hold no interaction data for them. Altogether, these interactions span 812 individual medications.
Before starting this product, run your exact medications through the checker below.

For each ingredient in Ultra Collagen Enhance with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Resveratrol Polyphenol Complex(TM)
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Resveratrol may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Resveratrol seems to have antiplatelet effects.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP1A2 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit CYP2C19 enzymes. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2E1 (Cyp2E1) Substrates
Resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2E1.
In vitro research suggests that resveratrol inhibits CYP2E1 isoenzyme. Also, a pharmacokinetic study shows that taking resveratrol 500 mg daily for 10 days prior to taking a single dose of chlorzoxazone 250 mg increases the maximum concentration of chlorzoxazone by about 54%, the area under the curve of chlorzoxazone by about 72%, and the half-life of chlorzoxazone by about 35%. Chlorzoxazone is used as a probe drug for CYP2E1.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, resveratrol might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that resveratrol can inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme. However, clinical research shows that taking resveratrol 3000 mg daily for 8 weeks does not necessitate dose adjustments to medications metabolized by CYP3A4.
Chondroitin Sulfate
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Taking chondroitin in combination with glucosamine might increase the anticoagulant effects of warfarin. However, the effect of chondroitin alone is unclear.
There have been multiple reports of increased international normalized ratio (INR) in patients taking warfarin with glucosamine, with or without chondroitin. The lack of reports with chondroitin alone seem to suggest that the interactions occurring in these reports may have been due to glucosamine. In two individual case reports, glucosamine/chondroitin combinations were associated with a significant increase in INR in patients previously stabilized on warfarin. Additionally, 20 voluntary case reports to the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) have linked glucosamine plus chondroitin with increased INR, bruising, and bleeding in patients who were also taking warfarin. There have also been 20 additional case reports to the World Health Organization (WHO) that link glucosamine alone, without chondroitin, to increased INR in patients taking warfarin.
