🩺 Clinical
This is an over-the-counter kit containing two oral products marketed under FDA's monograph rules for cold and flu symptom relief. The day formulation includes acetaminophen (a pain reliever and fever reducer), dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant), and phenylephrine (a nasal decongestant). The night formulation adds doxylamine, a sleep aid, to the acetaminophen and dextromethorphan. Together, these ingredients are commonly combined in products intended to address multiple cold and flu symptoms like cough, congestion, aches, fever, and nighttime discomfort.
