Clinical
This is an over-the-counter kit containing daytime and nighttime cold and flu remedies sold under FDA's OTC monograph rules. The product typically includes active ingredients such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen (pain reliever and fever reducer), phenylephrine or pseudoephedrine (decongestant), and dextromethorphan (cough suppressant) in the daytime formulation, with a nighttime version commonly adding an antihistamine like doxylamine or diphenhydramine to promote sleep. These ingredients are commonly used together to address multiple cold and flu symptoms like aches, fever, congestion, and cough.
