Clinical
Carmex Classic Lip Balm is a topical salve marketed as an over-the-counter product under FDA monograph rules for lip balms and skin protectants. It contains synthetic camphor, which is typically used to provide a cooling or soothing sensation on the lips, and white petrolatum, a moisturizing base commonly used to soften and protect dry or chapped lips. The product is applied directly to the lip area to help relieve minor lip discomfort.
