🩺 Clinical
This is a topical cream sunscreen containing zinc oxide, an inorganic UV filter typically used in sunscreen products to reflect and scatter ultraviolet radiation from the skin. Zinc oxide functions as a broad-spectrum sunscreen agent that works on the skin surface. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established safety and effectiveness rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than being individually approved through a separate application.
