This is a topical lotion that functions as a broad-spectrum sunscreen. It contains zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter that is typically used to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter drug under FDA's sunscreen monograph, which sets standards for ingredients and claims in nonprescription sun-protection products. The lotion is meant to be applied to exposed skin areas.
