Clinical
This is a topical cream sunscreen marketed as an over-the-counter monograph product. The active ingredient is zinc oxide, a mineral UV filter that is typically used to help protect skin from ultraviolet radiation when applied to exposed areas before sun exposure. Zinc oxide functions by reflecting and scattering UV rays rather than absorbing them. This product is intended for use on the skin to reduce sunburn risk.
