Clinical
This is an over-the-counter topical foaming liquid hand sanitizer that contains chloroxylenol, an antimicrobial ingredient commonly used in hand-hygiene products. Chloroxylenol is typically included in such formulations for its ability to reduce bacteria and other microorganisms on the skin. The product is marketed under FDA's monograph rules for antiseptic hand-care items rather than as an individually approved drug application. It is intended for cleansing and sanitizing hands.
