Clinical
This is an over-the-counter mouthwash product marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules for oral rinses. It contains four botanical essential oil components (eucalyptol, menthol, methyl salicylate, and thymol) that are typically used together in oral care products for their antimicrobial and flavoring properties. Mouthwashes containing these ingredients are commonly used as rinses to help reduce bacteria in the mouth and freshen breath. The formulation is also labeled as tartar control, indicating it is intended to help manage tartar buildup.
