Clinical
La Roche Posay Anthelios 30 is a lotion applied to the skin that contains five active ingredients commonly used as ultraviolet light filters in sunscreen products. Avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, and oxybenzone are chemical compounds that work to absorb and scatter UV radiation. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is marketed under established FDA guidelines for sunscreen ingredients and formulations rather than as an individually approved medication.
