Clinical
This is a topical sunscreen cream formulated with four UV-filtering ingredients: avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene. These active ingredients function as chemical sunscreens, meaning they absorb ultraviolet light and convert it to heat to help protect skin from sun exposure. The product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, which means it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen products rather than being individually reviewed. Broad spectrum SPF 30 indicates the product is intended to filter both UVA and UVB radiation.
