Clinical
This is a topical antibiotic ointment sold over the counter under FDA's OTC monograph rules. It contains three antibiotics (bacitracin zinc, neomycin sulfate, and polymyxin B sulfate) that are commonly used together in first-aid products to help prevent bacterial infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and wounds. The ointment also contains pramoxine hydrochloride, a numbing agent typically included to provide temporary pain relief at the application site. This combination type of product is commonly found in general first-aid kits.
