Clinical
Theraflu Relief Max Strength Nighttime is an over-the-counter powder that you mix with water and drink by mouth. It contains acetaminophen, which is commonly used to reduce fever and relieve pain, along with chlorpheniramine maleate, an antihistamine typically used to reduce allergy and cold symptoms like sneezing and runny nose. The product also contains dextromethorphan, which functions as a cough suppressant. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for its category rather than undergoing individual review.
