Clinical
Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.
Read the full MedlinePlus article ↗Clear Proof Acne System The Go Set is an over-the-counter kit containing benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, two topical ingredients commonly used in acne care products. Benzoyl peroxide functions as an antibacterial agent and helps reduce excess oil, while salicylic acid is a keratolytic that typically helps exfoliate the skin. This product is marketed under the FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for acne treatment products rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
