🩺 Clinical
This is an over-the-counter rectal suppository marketed under FDA's OTC monograph rules for hemorrhoidal products. It contains phenylephrine hydrochloride, a decongestant that is typically used to reduce swelling and shrink blood vessels in the rectal area, and cocoa butter, a base ingredient commonly used in suppositories for lubrication and ease of insertion. The product is intended for temporary relief of hemorrhoid symptoms but is not an individually FDA-reviewed drug application.
