Clinical
Weightless Protection SPF 45 is a topical lotion sunscreen marketed as an over-the-counter monograph product. It contains three active ingredients that work together to protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation: octisalate and octocrylene are organic UV filters that absorb sunlight, while zinc oxide is a mineral filter that reflects UV rays. This broad-spectrum lotion is typically used to help shield exposed skin from both UVA and UVB sun damage when applied before sun exposure.
