Clinical
Sun Bum Road Tripper is an over-the-counter lip balm stick containing four ultraviolet (UV) filters: avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, and octocrylene. These chemical sunscreen ingredients are typically combined to absorb and scatter UV radiation across a broad spectrum of wavelengths. The product is formulated with a coconut flavoring and marketed as an SPF 30 sunscreen for topical application to the lips. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it is manufactured according to FDA's established category standards rather than as an individually approved drug application.
