Clinical
Harris Teeter Iodine Tincture Mild is a topical liquid containing iodine and sodium iodide as antimicrobial agents, along with alcohol as a carrier and preservative. This product is an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed under FDA's established rules for iodine tincture products rather than through individual product approval. Iodine-based solutions are typically applied to the skin and are commonly used as antiseptics for minor cuts, scrapes, and wounds.
