Clinical
Quality Choice Iodine Tincture Mild is a topical liquid containing iodine and sodium iodide as antimicrobial agents, along with alcohol. This is an over-the-counter monograph product, meaning it is regulated under FDA's established rules for this category of antiseptic skin products rather than as an individually approved drug application. The iodine compounds are typically used as topical antiseptics to help reduce bacteria and other microorganisms on the skin.
