Clinical
This is a topical lotion sunscreen containing zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter typically used in over-the-counter sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet radiation. The lotion is formulated under FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for sunscreen products rather than through individual FDA approval. It is applied to the skin as a barrier-type sun protection product.
