Clinical
This is a topical gel containing menthol and camphor, marketed as an over-the-counter pain relief product under FDA's OTC monograph rules. Menthol and camphor are counterirritants that are typically used to produce a cooling or warming sensation on the skin, which may temporarily ease minor muscle aches, joint discomfort, and localized pain. The gel is applied directly to the affected area on the skin. This product type does not require individual FDA approval before marketing, as it follows the established OTC monograph guidelines for topical counterirritant products.
