Clinical
Aluroderm is a skin patch containing allantoin, an over-the-counter monograph product applied directly to the skin. Allantoin is commonly used in topical scar and wound-care products because it is believed to help soften and smooth the appearance of scar tissue. This patch format allows the active ingredient to be delivered to the affected area in a controlled manner.
