Clinical
This is a topical cream sunscreen that contains zinc oxide as its active ingredient. Zinc oxide is a mineral UV filter typically used in sunscreen products to help reflect and scatter ultraviolet rays from the sun. This product is labeled as broad spectrum SPF 32, meaning it is formulated to provide protection against both UVA and UVB radiation. It is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, regulated under the FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients and categories rather than as an individually reviewed application.
