Clinical
El Balsamo de Tigre is a topical ointment sold as an over-the-counter monograph drug. It contains methyl salicylate and menthol, which are commonly included in pain-relief rubs and liniments applied to the skin. Methyl salicylate is typically used for its warming and pain-relieving properties, while menthol is used for its cooling sensation and to help reduce discomfort. This type of product is generally applied directly to the skin over affected areas.
