Clinical
Curefini is a topical ointment containing petrolatum and cod liver oil, marketed as an over-the-counter monograph product. Petrolatum functions as an occlusive moisturizer and skin protectant, commonly used to soften and protect dry or irritated skin. Cod liver oil is typically included in such products for its fatty acid content, which is believed to support skin conditioning. This ointment is applied directly to the skin surface.
