Clinical
Curefini is an over-the-counter topical ointment containing cod liver oil and petrolatum. Petrolatum functions as an emollient and occlusive moisturizer commonly used to soften and protect skin. Cod liver oil is typically included in skin care products for its fatty acid content. This is an OTC monograph product, meaning it is marketed under established FDA guidelines for its drug category rather than as an individually approved application.
