Clinical
This is an over-the-counter acne starter kit containing salicylic acid, a topical ingredient commonly used in skincare products designed to help manage acne-prone skin. Salicylic acid functions as a keratolytic agent, meaning it is typically used to help break down and remove dead skin cells and reduce excess oil buildup in pores. This kit is marketed as an OTC monograph drug product under FDA regulations for acne treatment preparations.
