Clinical
Calaclear is an over-the-counter lotion applied to the skin. It contains pramoxine hydrochloride, a topical anesthetic typically used to numb minor skin irritation and itching, and zinc acetate, a mineral salt commonly used in skincare products for its astringent and soothing properties. This lotion is marketed under FDA's monograph rules for OTC topical products rather than as an individually approved drug application.
