Clinical
Vicks VapoFreeze Pain Relief is a topical liquid product containing camphor and menthol, which are commonly used in over-the-counter pain relief preparations. When applied to the skin, these ingredients typically produce a cooling or warming sensation and are found in products marketed for temporary relief of minor muscle aches, joint discomfort, and similar localized pain. This product is marketed under the FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for topical analgesics, meaning it follows established safety and ingredient guidelines for this drug category rather than being individually reviewed by the FDA.
