Clinical
This is a topical patch containing lidocaine and menthol, marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug under FDA's established guidelines for this product category. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic commonly used to numb skin and tissues, while menthol is typically included for its cooling sensation and mild counterirritant properties. Together, these ingredients are found in products designed to provide temporary relief of minor aches and pains when applied directly to the skin.
