Clinical
This is a topical skin serum concentrate containing alpha-arbutin, an ingredient typically used in skincare products to help reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. Applied directly to the skin, alpha-arbutin functions as a tyrosinase inhibitor that is commonly included in depigmenting or skin-lightening formulations. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for skin-lightening agents rather than undergoing individual product review.
