This is an over-the-counter topical patch product marketed under FDA's monograph rules for skin care. It contains salicylic acid, which is commonly used to help soften and remove dead skin, along with allantoin and aloe, which are often included to soothe and protect the skin. Glycerin and ethylhexylglycerin function as humectants and preservatives to maintain moisture and product stability, while witch hazel extract (Hamamelis virginiana) is typically used for its astringent properties in skin care formulations.
