Clinical
This is a topical antiseptic cleansing wipe sold as an over-the-counter monograph product. It contains phenoxyethanol, a preservative and antimicrobial agent commonly used in wound cleansing and skin antiseptic products. The wipe is moistened with a saline solution (0.9% sodium chloride) and is typically used to clean and help reduce bacteria on skin before minor procedures or wound care. Phenoxyethanol functions as a preservative in the formulation and as a topical antiseptic agent.
