Clinical
This is an over-the-counter sunscreen cream applied to the skin. It contains zinc oxide, a mineral ingredient that functions as a broad-spectrum ultraviolet (UV) filter, meaning it reflects both UVA and UVB rays. Products with this ingredient are commonly used to help protect exposed skin from the sun. This product is marketed under the FDA's monograph rules for sunscreen drugs rather than as an individually approved application.
